Markets: Aptos and Carmel

Products: Specialty grown crops include: row crop greens (arugula and lettuce varieties), strawberries and over ten varieties of potatoes seasonally. Bar D also creates jams and preserves including: Strawberry Meyer Lemon, Strawberry Rhubarb, Meyer Lemon Marmalade as well as Strawberry-Balsamic Sauce.

History/Philosophy: Bar-D farm has been in operation since 1975 at the Elkhorn Slough. They farm organically using only hand tools and are the third generation to farm this land.
