Located at Cabrillo College, 6500 Soquel Drive, Aptos, CA 95003. The market offers a bountiful selection of top quality produce and specialty foods as well as the opportunity to connect with the farmers and vendors who produce it. Open year round, rain or shine.

Per California Health and Safety Code, animals are prohibited at certified farmers markets with the exception of service animals.

Carmel Farmers Market

at The Barnyard

The Carmel Farmers Market is hosted by The Barnyard Shopping Village, located at the intersection of Highway 1 and Carmel Valley Road. With over 25 farmers and vendors who offer local fresh farm produce and other specialty items. Open from May to September.

Per California Health and Safety Code, animals are prohibited at certified farmers markets with the exception of service animals.

Tuesday, 9 am until 1 pm

Monterey Farmers Market

at Del Monte Shopping Center

1410 Del Monte Center Monterey, CA 93940
Market is located in parking lot behind California Pizza Kitchen. Open year round, rain or shine. You’ll find a wide selection of California-grown produce, artisan products, and plants.

Per California Health and Safety Code, animals are prohibited at certified farmers markets with the exception of service animals.

Fridays, 8 am until 12 pm

Del Monte Farmers Market

at Del Monte Shopping Center

1410 Del Monte Center Monterey, CA 93940
Market is located in parking lot behind California Pizza Kitchen. Open from May to September.
This market offers a bountiful array of locally grown produce, cut flowers, and potted plants.

Sunday, 8 am until 12 pm

What began in 1976 as a modest local market has grown into a cherished regional institution, deeply woven into the daily lives of farmers, families, chefs, and visitors alike.

Today, the family of Monterey Bay Certified Farmers Markets includes four vibrant markets in Aptos, Carmel, and Monterey, each reflecting the unique character of its community. Two of the four markets operate year-round, offering a dependable gathering place where fresh food, friendly conversation, and a strong sense of belonging are always in season. With more than 90 dedicated vendors, our markets continue to set the standard for quality, authenticity, and community connection on the Central Coast.

About MBCFM

Founded in 1976, the Monterey Bay Certified Farmers Markets are the oldest and largest farmers markets on the Central Coast with four locations: Aptos, Carmel, and two in Monterey.

Our Markets

Each of our four markets has its own unique style that reflects its community and operates year-round, except for the Carmel and Del Monte market, which are only open in the summer.

Recipients of the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) or CalFresh can access their food benefits electronically at the Aptos Farmers Market at Cabrillo College (open Saturdays, 8 a.m. — 12 p.m.) or at the Del Monte Shopping Center (open Fridays, 8 a.m. – 12 p.m.).

EBT processing is available between 9 – 11 a.m. at the Saturday Aptos Farmers Market at a booth located on the second level of the market.

EBT processing is available from 9 – 11 a.m. at the Friday Monterey Farmers Market at a booth near the food vendors.

Get your kitchen knives and garden tools sharpened while you shop! Sharpening services are available each week at the Aptos Farmers Market at Cabrillo College and Monterey Farmers Markets at the Del Monte Shopping Center.
