Calling All Cookbook Lovers: Aptos Farmers Market’s Cookbook Exchange Needs You!

MBCFM > Market News > Calling All Cookbook Lovers: Aptos Farmers Market’s Cookbook Exchange Needs You!

The Cookbook Exchange at the Aptos Farmers Market has been a great success so far! As the fall season rolls in, it’s the perfect time to declutter those shelves or pass along a cookbook you’ve already enjoyed. We’re currently seeking new donations to keep our collection fresh and inspiring — so if you’re doing some fall cleaning, or simply want to share your favorite cookbooks, we’d love for you to participate!

Inspired by the long-standing tradition of book sharing, famously championed by philanthropist Andrew Carnegie over a century ago, our Cookbook Exchange is all about fostering community through the love of cooking. Whether you’re a seasoned chef or just looking to try something new, this one-for-one swap lets you trade in your old cookbooks for something fresh to spice up your culinary adventures.

You’ll find our Cookbook Exchange bookshelves located next to the information table on the middle level of the market. So bring in your gently used cookbooks and leave with a new book for fresh inspiration!
