The markets are brimming with apples, pears, pomegranates, eggplant, Brussels sprouts, oranges, grapefruit, dates, dried fruit, and nuts — just to name a few things! Seasonal Market Closings
The Carmel Farmers Market at The Barnyard (Tuesday) and the Del Monte Farmers Market at the Del Monte Shopping Center (Sunday) are now closed for the season. Our other two markets, Aptos Farmers Market at Cabrillo College (Saturday) and Monterey Farmers Market at the Del Monte Shopping Center (Friday) are open year-round.
Holiday Schedule
The Monterey Farmers Market at the Del Monte Center will be OPEN on Wednesday, November 22, the day before Thanksgiving. It will be CLOSED on Friday, November 24.
After that, the farmers markets will be open all Fridays and Saturdays throughout the winter season without any holiday closings this year.
Christmas Craft Fair at the Aptos Farmers Market
This coming holiday season, the Aptos Farmers Market is hosting a Christmas Craft Fair from November 25 — December 23! Watch for the announcement of artisans.
Holiday Gift Guide 2023
The new Monterey Bay Certified Farmers Markets Holiday Gift Guide will be published on November 1. It will be available to download from our website or it can be enjoyed online. Many vendors have specialties only available this time of year that make unique and thoughtful gifts. We take ‘shop local’ seriously and we think you’ll be delighted by the many offerings from our farmers and food artisans.
