This year we’ve said goodbye to a few vendors and are welcoming some new faces! We are glad to welcome back long-time member, McLellan Botanicals, our popular orchid vendor, to the Aptos Farmers Market.
Joining our farmers markets are:
Tikal Organic Farm: Fernando Rodas Pedro of Tikal Organic Farm sells a wide selection of organic produce and is currently at the Friday Monterey Farmers Market at the Del Monte Shopping Center. However, Fernando will be joining the Aptos Farmers Market at Cabrillo College during the winter months.
Bay Living Culinary: Chef Jody Lombardo, owner of Bay Living Culinary, sells a variety of fresh and flavorful take-home comfort foods including pot pies, clam chowder, zesty turkey chili, bone broth, and simmer sauces. She will also be selling Thanksgiving side dishes in November by special order.
Rold Farms with Mojo Micro Greens: Meet Jerid Rold from Rold Farms selling a variety of microgreens including radish, kohlrabi, broccoli, kale, dun pea, arugula, sunflower, and Mojo Salad Mix. Currently, he is selling at the Aptos Farmers Market. He will be at the Friday Monterey Farmers Market at Del Monte Shopping Center in the near future.
Lavender Creek Company: A family-run lavender farm, Lavender Creek Company is currently at the Friday Monterey Farmers Market at the Del Monte Shopping Center and will be at the Aptos Farmers Market starting in November. Products include lavender-based body oils, soaps, lotions, bath salts, and dried lavender.
MIF Seafood: Soon to be joining the Aptos and Monterey Farmers Markets in November, MIF Seafood will offer sustainable, wild Alaskan fresh and frozen Sockeye salmon cuts, cold smoked salmon, and dog treats made from salmon skin.
Vendors Saying Goodbye
Vendors who have retired from the markets are Cowboy Sausage, Windmill Farms, Kandarian Organic Farms, and Koda Farms.
